Dear Ketsu-ians,

in case the freshies do not know. We've come a long way before FOW/C itself. We've been through a lot to get to where we are now.

We've been through OTC together, which was a leadership camp to prepare ourselves for FOW/C. We've had OTC Refresh 1, 2 and 3. All the outings we've gone with together. New Year's celebrations at VivoCity, walking a super long distance through Dhoby Ghaut (Cathay) to Bugis for Tau Huey and then back to Takashimaya... VERTU! Night cycling together was awesome too. We met up at East Coast Park, had dinner and went down towards Lau Pa Sat / Marina Barrage where we had lots of bonding (THANKS FOR THE ICE CREAM IZAK). We also had Ketsu chalet, opposite OCH, we clubbed in the room, drank to our hearts' content (yes Sharon, drank too much though :)) as well as played mahjong and wii. I believe that all this bonding has brought us to where we are now. As one cosca, one family, one Ketsu.

As we went through FOW, we may have felt tired and upset about some things that have happened. But we persevered and endured everything that can be thrown at us. Although we got last place for FOW, I believe we allowed the freshies to truly enjoy the time that they have spent with us, even though it was a non-residential camp. The reality of it made us decide to strive even harder for FOC.

As FOC arrived, we saw our very first ranking on day 1. Third. Would this be deja vu? I guess most of us were afraid of what would happen even though the freshies were unaware of anything. But we continued to put pressure on the other empires, and guess what? We came in second. I am so proud of all the GLs, Mich, Izak and Evan because of how much each and everyone of us put in to get us to where we are.

Ketsu is not just a cosca. Ketsu - Family.

I hope all the freshies had loads and loads of fun and aim to become a GL next year! To all GLs and FAs, especially those that fell sick during and after that camp, PLEASE DO TAKE CARE! Those who have week zero, I wish you all good luck :) I love all of you! Ketsu <3
